West Coast Energy (Part of the West Coast Group of Companies)
West Coast Energy Limited is a leading independent wind energy developer based in Mold, North Wales. The company was established in 1996 and specialises in the identification, design, planning and development of wind energy projects through to construction and operation. We are presently involved in developing hundreds of megawatts of wind power generation for our future renewable energy needs, and to date, we have secured planning permission for a range of onshore and offshore wind farms totalling in excess of 650 Megawatts. They will be providing free wind feasibility assessment for landowners and community groups. Landowners and community groups visiting the West Coast Energy stand can find out immediately if their land has potential to site one or more wind turbines, in order to produce energy to support their existing business through onsite use, or via sales back into the national grid. Those considering the installation of turbines can benefit from West Coast Energy’s unrivalled experience in the sector through a number of innovative partnership solutions. Typically, there are no outgoings for landowners or community groups from beginning to end of the project, yet once it is operational they will share the benefits with the developer.
